About Us
The Charity was established in 1997 by Roger and Helen Lane in memory of their parents and members of the Lane family continue to have representation on the board of trustees. Gil and Grace were both born in Lincolnshire and retained strong family ties with the county throughout their lives. In recent years links with the county have been strengthened with the acquisition by G R Lane Health Products of Boston based Jakemans (Confectioners) Ltd.
In 1930 Gil and Grace settled in Gloucestershire and established G R Lane Health Products. As a result the Charity is based in Gloucester and makes grants to other charities particularly those based in Gloucestershire and Lincolnshire.
